Why this is Important?
This situation of lockdown is unprecedented. Staying at home continuously for many days and weeks is not something adults, children and even senior citizens are used to. To protect oneself, family, senior citizens and vulnerable population, we all have the responsibility to prevent the spread of the virus and hence to stop the spread of the disease. By limiting the movement of people , we can effectively reduce the transmission rate and prevent many people from catching the virus. This also helps hospitals systems to use human resources, ICUs, ventilators on those who need it. Otherwise hospitals overwhelmed with patients may lead to less attention on people who need critical care, that results in more death rates.
Let's help ourselves and vulnerable population by staying indoors. While staying indoors, some people may develop fear, anxiety, worry about how long this would be and what to do during this time to help themselves. While this situation can last for few weeks, here are the tips to help keep the balance of physical, mental and community health.
